12/04 came to U.S. as f1 and then start OPT in 2/08 change to H1 in 10/1/08, during 02/08-9/30/08 OPT status, my company has deducted SS and Medcare tax . If i file 843 to claim those back do i have to file as a nonresident even though my wife is qualify as resident? Thanks in advance

CPA working experience hours 可不可以分開累積, (ex: A 公司1000 hours + B 公司1000 hours)? 4. 這樣的情況, 短期內辦EB2 綠卡, 有希望麼? 我們公司是個40多人的CPA firm. 我們公司有做auditing, accounting, tax等, 我做的多半是Govermental Auditing or Non-profit organization Auditing. 我是去年10月加入我們公司, 去年12月畢業, 今年四月公司幫我申請了H1b. 起初給我的待遇是 $12/hr, (我們地區的H1b prevailing wage 是$20. 不過我現在還用opt工作, H1b 10月才會激活), 沒有其他任何benefit 或 medical insurance, 到現在進入公司將近九個月, 待遇沒有改變. (當初的合同是說三個月後 negotiable, 三個月後我和老闆提過, 他說:”I wi

i think you are being taken advantage of. It will be up to you if you want to jump or stay. I would suggest that if you wish to stay, schedule a meeting with your supervisor and lay out your terms in order for you to stay, i.e. a raise in salary, a date to initiate PERM, etc. Put everything in writing after the meeting. There is still a chance that they do not honor their words even if you have them in writing. I hope not, but in any case, protect your own welfare and do not let people walk all
1. Have you seen your H-1 approve notice? 2. Are you sure they will sponsor your GC? and How can they do that when you are working part time at $12? I am not saying it is not doable, but sound a little bit tricky. Schedule a meeting with your mananger and ask him about more detail before you made your final decision

還沒看見, 但USCIS頁面已經顯示通過了, 律師也email 給我並cc大小主管有關我H1b通 過的事. H1b approval後,好像有個文件是給employee自己保存的, 有人知道是哪個文 件麼?最近打算去跟公司要了. you a little bit tricky. (當初的合同是說三個月後 negotiable, 三個月後我 和老闆提過, 他說:”I will take care of it.” 但沒有任何行動.)我應該在提醒他 一次麼? 是我當時還沒畢業, 跟他們提過我需要些時間學習, 所以他們才把我當part time 使. 但畢業後到現在, 我發現他們就是把我當part time使用了. 如果他們明確告訴我一週 的哪幾天需要我. 那麼,不需要我的時間我可以在家帶孩子, 省daycare fee. 但我公 司不是, 他們是需要我像full time employee一般地standby, 他們可能明天要我工作 也可能不要,
nah. I think I read a licensing handbook(California) that you can contact the board if the cpa firm does not sign off on your experience when in fact you were entitled to the sign off.

是myvisajobs.com, 不是visajobs.com. 建议你还是再忍几个月,同时找工作, h1b visa 生效以后就走人。 另外,我也觉得工资是底了,但最不能忍受的是 象打发叫化子一样, 让你来就马上来,让你走就马上走。
