女儿的同学，六岁，三天前突然呼吸困难，送医院，住了ICU。这三天，什么都查了，
CT， MRI，血，尿，没有查出任何问题，现在还在ICU住着，用ventilator帮助呼吸，
意识清醒，能点头摇头回答问题，四肢有触觉，身体不怎么能动，大部分时候睡着。到
现在还没有一个明确的诊断，父母都快急死了。

朋友的n1和我的droid放在一起对比了一下, 总体上目前这两个phone差不太多, 硬件上
各有一些优缺点. 软件上android 2.1比2.0改进还是很大的.
鉴于nexus one没正式发布, 就不公开爆料了. 如果有兴趣知道更多一些细节, 站内pm

生了孩子后第一个面试，面的Staff Accountant，只有几个人的小事务所，拿到Offer
，第一年给$11.5一小时，加班17.25，有医疗保险。在中西部偏远小地方，但还是觉
得太低了点。
我没有工作经验，有绿卡，刚过CPA。
不知道版上有人知道在中西部几万人的小镇，小CPA Firm的Staff Accountant起薪大概
是多少

it would be a mistake if Google enter the market with Google branded phone.
OS owner who makes hardware, then license the OS to other hardware makers,
this model has never worked.
Did not work for Apple.
Did not work for Palm.
Did not work for Nokia.
Did not work for M$: PlayForSure & Zune.
The reason is simple. You either make better hardware than licensees, or
licensees makes better hardwares. Either way, it normally won't end pretty.

你知道的信息太少，如果想帮忙，你必须拿到病例，找出医生曾经怀疑过什么病，怎么
排除那个病诊断的，现在在用什么药物or没有药物at all，做过什么辅助检查。
你的问题类似于：一辆车开不动了，由一个garage查，现在什么都没查出来，问：为什
么车不动，父母都急死了。

我可能没说清楚，平时工作40个小时一个星期，每小时$11.5,Tax Season 要求加班，
一般一个星期加20个小时，这20个小时是$17.25一个小时，加上所以Bonus，一年总共
三万

谢谢，我再去打听一下。我只知道刚开始医生怀疑说是Guillain barre' syndrome. 后
来也没有确定。现在这孩子情况好像越来越不好了，她爸爸说医院准备给她做
plasmapheresis.

为什么这么说? n1也不是google制造的啊? 除了媒体, 没人管这个叫google branded
phone吧, 与之前的g1, mytouch 等等不同的, 只是google可能会独立销售这个手机而
已, 就像amazon卖手机一样.

XXX had her first plasmapheresis treatment last evening. We are encouraged
as she has been able to very slightly nod yes/no as of 5 am. She still has
no reflexes, can't move any part of her body from the neck down and she has
one partially collapsed lung. We are getting her ready for another MRI of
the head and full spine. After that will be another spinal tap then her
second plasmapheresis. She will have five total plasmapheresis done, once a
day each. Thank you so much ...

好了，确诊了，是 Guillain barre。孩子妈妈又给了update:
The doctors have given the formal diagnosis of Guillain barre based on the
results. In some ways this is a very good thing, as at least we know what
XXX is fighting. They will continue with her third of five plasmapheresis
treatments later today. I am very happy to report that over the last day or
so she has regained the ability to nod or shake her head slightly for yes/no
answers, and her eyes have been open a bit more and more often. They are
small steps, but positive ones, and we pray that she can continue to make
positive strides.
On the downside, her left lung is still collapsed which concerns the doctors
. Right now she is sedated as they send a camera down to look for a blockage
and try to get her lungs both working.
前几天大家都觉得这小女孩要不行了，很难过，现在终于好转了。看这病的预后，似乎
只要抗过去了，大部分人都恢复挺好的，没什么问题。我是第一次听说这个病，真是好
凶险啊。感觉如果在贫穷落后的地区，没有ICU，是不是得这病很有可能就死了。

我想知道，是不是Android 2.1版会对硬件要求更高？比如必须得1G的cpu和512的ram。
我看youtube上的视频和别人的发帖，说在driod上运行Android 2.1会慢很多很多。
这样一来，系统就太封闭了吧，难道下一代的Android手机都要1g的cpu才行？

不过lz这个如果不是中国人的小firm（在midwest的话感觉不像是中国人的），是稍稍

这个就无从而知了. 毕竟现在还没有droid升级到2.1系统.
不过你说的不是不可能, android 2.1 那些 animation, 如果说需要更高的硬件, 这一
点也不奇怪. n1的硬件, 比droid还是强出去一大截的.
以后手机1g以上是肯定的了. 后面的那个bravo 不是也是 1g 的cpu吗?

现在猜测这些还为时尚早.
其实即使2.1在Droid上能跑得跟nexus one 一样流畅. 早晚也会有Android x.y, 在N1
上可以跑, 但是到Droid上跑不了. 这个不管是移动设备还是桌面设备, 软件和硬件都
是水涨船高.

我的印象是nexus看网页不错，分辨率比iphone高，
但是触摸还是不如iphone。
那个oled的屏幕感觉也一般。
还有的就是太丑了。难到就不能把颜色搞得均一一些，
然后把那些破破烂烂的缝隙给填平？

iPhone 2009年在美国增长100%。
你还把Verizo说得这么强硬。最近一直都是Verizon一直在递橄榄枝。
虽然苹果有可能给Verizon iPhone
但是实际上，给T-Mobile也不给Verizon其实更有可能。
T-Mobile本来就占领的主要是城市市场，城市又是iPhone集中的地区。Verizon好多客
户都是rural区域的，其实给T-Mobile的潜在iPhone用户可能比Verizon还多。
唯一的问题是T-Mobile的3G频率问题。

have switched to att long time ago. the market is satuarted for
iphone on gsm. only verizon can offer apple to opportunity to almost
double the potential user base. and given the recent iphone bashing
from verizon, it clearly shows verizon has prepared to give up on

yes, I agree. I also think ATT is one factor that actually limited iPhone's
distribution. Probably a lot of people who switched from VZW to ATT for
iPhone regretted because of poor network, especially after VZW has
competitive Android phones.

T-Mobile客服应该比Sprint好。不然Sprint也不会流失客户这么多
老美论坛上都是说，所有carrier里面，就Sprint流失的客户个个都是“恨”sprint
Sprint真的每个月都流失上万用户哦

and that article says nothing about verizon's eagerness to get iphone.
the same network upgrade can be used with N1 or other androids too.
and it's verizon's #1 pleasure to talk about their network.

I like Sprint, a lot! the only reason I left them is Droid. even though I
now I pay 73% more in Verizon.

Verizon Wireless has even made upgrades that would make its network more
capable of handling extra traffic that would be generated by the iPhone,
Verizon Wireless Chief Technology Officer Anthony Melone says in an
interview.
"We have put things in place already," Melone tells Bloomberg BusinessWeek.
"We are prepared to support that traffic."

iphone是不错，不过那是几年前了，现在随便看个啥手机都有当年看到iphone的感觉

Gee....
Why has it to be iPhone? Droid sucks data too. I don't tether and used
more than 1GB data last month. My monthly data usage was 50MB when I used
TP.

现在没有真正意义上可以和iphone竞争的产品，droid也就接近
