My mom is going to take NW flights from LAX to China, and she'll need to
change to the connection flight in Japan. I wonder how easy or hard it is. I
have never taken that flight before. Someone can share their experience?

把去年的ESPP给卖了，可是不知道怎么搞的，一笔ESPP居然在1099B上分成了两项，一
项是大部分的股票，还有一个0.5股的交易类型是cash in lieu。然后我往turbotax里
面输得时候这0。5股也作为ESPP类型，结果最后检查的时候老是通不过。把它当成普通
股票算吧，又跟我W2上得ESPP 收入不match，这个到底怎么搞？

什么样的vendor要寄1099表？我公司请一家llc的除草公司来除草，需要让他们填w-9,

不是股息，我的理解是我卖的时候这批股票跟别的非ESPP的股票合在一起卖的，两者加
起来之后就出现了0.5股的零头，证券公司不能直接卖，而是特别处理了，于是就造成
了这种问题。

--What type of business.
companies that are sole proprietors, partnerships or LLCs who received money
from your company should receive a 1099. C corporations, S corporations or
LLCs that are taxed as C or S corporations do not require a 1099.
--If they received more than $600
independent contractor, law firm, architecture/engineering firm, reim. to
non employee etc plus they have received more than $600, you will need to
file 1099 misc. and send them a copy

还是觉得不对，别的国家都是5年，非要只给中国1年。

实际中怎么操作呢？我们的vendor我并不知道是不是corporation, 如果从名字能看出
来是LLC，也不知到是不是以corporation的方式交税，每次从新的vendor那买东西都要
问问是什么公司吗？

You ask for their W9 whenever you set up a new vendor. W9 will tell you what
type of entity they are, if they are llc, they will choose if they want to
be taxed as C corp or Partnership.You make your decision at that point.
