My comment:
(a) The beauty of Financial Times and Economist magazine is they not only
tell you what happens, but explains how and why. No newspaper, to my
knowledge, reported Globalfoundries acquired Chartered Semiconductor, not to
mention why Chartered is willing to be bought, especially considering the
fact a little over book value is not much. The Lex column is not available
to nonsubscribers online.
(b) Naturally SMIC must be in a bad shape, which was teh fourth largest
foundry before Global

不会容易了吧，现在花街裁人一批一批的，这些人大多应该都是有身份有经验的，不好
争

多数学校是9个月protected salary (state pay)的，暑假三个月实际上是你自己给自
己发工资，当然仍然是12个月的工资。
有的学校是12个月的protected salary，你不需要自己个自己发工资，grant申请的时
候甚至不需要写你的effort的。
我就知道有这样的，这种学校一般都是有professor union的。

我想问那个家庭地址（同时用于回邮护照的地址）应该是中国地址。但是ds160在这一
