I just got my first paycheck. In fact, I paid about 40% of my salary as tax.
Very unhappy. :(
Anybody know which tax item I do not have to pay? Or I have to pay all of
them. It seems I still have 5000 tax treaty. Do I need to talk to our
accounting department about it? Thanks a lot.
1.Federal Income Tax
2.Social Security (FICA)
3.Federal Medicare
4.California Income Tax
5.California Vol. Disability

在华盛顿地区附近的同学，可以看看这个工作，不是特别的好，但至少他们愿意支持
H1B。

You don't have to pay 2/3 if you are NRA I believe.
So how many years have you been F1?
