First 4 definitely 可以跳着考...
If you want to burn $3,000+, you can do FAP before finishing the first 4.
Though most ppl will wait till they get a job so they don't have to pay it
out of their own pockets.
Is there any discount for FAP? I guess lots of exam takers in China will
stop after the first 4 exams.

FAP1 is not that bad la. =)
It's $700 to gain access to the online modules (FAP1 & 2 combined)
then another $700 to take FAP1 exam.
The textbooks for FAP1&2 combined is about $700, but you can just spend $99
and get the BPP summary notes for modules 1-5 which covers all FAP1 readings
, except the online webpage readings which you will have access to anyways.
Another $700 to take the FAP2 "exam" (the project that you need to do).
Total cost (minimum) for FAP1 = $1499
and additional cost for FAP2
