Police dog service is a place where people work with smart animals. It was
constructed in 1990 by enthusiastic employees of the Ministry of Internal
Affairs of Russia who tried to make lives of the dogs as comfortable as
possible. There they get everything they need.

Numerous posters tell visitors how to take care of dogs in the right way: ‘

When employees have free time, they can go in for sports.
The dogs are trained how to search for weapons, explosives, narcotic
substances and help to detect such crimes as thefts and murders. Today the
employees work with 38 dogs.
Body vests for dogs.
The electrical dog collar is used to train dogs teaching them not to eat
food that can be on the ground or given by unknown people as there is a
possibility that the animals can be poisoned.
The substances smell like natural narcotic
The express tests show that the bag examined was used to transport forbidden
substances before.
Searching for drugs.
Searching objects by smell.
In fact, 80% of success belongs to a dog handler and only 20% to a dog. It
is the dog handler who finds a place suspicious. But a dog handler must
believe in his dog. If a dog insists there is something in the luggage but
people fail to find it, it is important to continue searching.
