J1是2009年12月来的美国,从12月开始领工资;

I don't agree with other's comments.
I do see some investors can invest pre-product-launch startups, or pre-
product-fit startups, most investors more likely invest product/market fit,
or after-product-launch business, or growing companies, or simply revenue-
generating company.
So the first question is what's your company stage? Have you launched your
product? Have you found out your product is a good fit for the market? Is
your product generating some revenues? Or Did you guys graduate from
Stanford, MIT, Harvard?
Those answers can be answered without quitting your full-time job. And your
product can be proved without quitting your full-time job either.
I understand we have seen so many startups who literally have nothing but
funded. The reality is only 1-3% (forgot where to see this data) startups
were funded. You really have to bet you odds to get your startup funded if
your answers to my questions are NO. In that case, quitting your job is too
risky.
On the other hand, if you can answer my questions with solid YES, I think it
will no problem for you to get funded. And quitting your full-time job is
not risky at all, IMO.
The real question is, what you build is a business to make money, or a
concept to attract investors.
