I just googled Kumon and find that from wiki:
Kumon is a math and reading enrichment program. Students do not work
together as a class, but progress
through the curriculum at their own pace, moving on to the next level when
they have achieved mastery of the
previous level. Mastery is defined as speed (using a standard completion
time) and accuracy.[3] They take an
achievement test at the end of each level.
It seems the core is that the kids progress thru the curriculum at their own

有人羡慕童年的天真烂漫，无忧无虑，有人留恋中学的青涩，也有些人还在感慨高中的
忙碌。在很多人的眼里大学就是天堂，多元化的生活给人无限的想象，可是已经身处大
学的我们在感受着美好生活的同时，也怀揣着青春的烦恼。
大学里谈恋爱已经算是很常见的现象了，不足为奇，在高
中就已坠入爱河的也大有人在，但这不代表所有人都能接受。虽然很多家长都鼓励孩子
在学生时代结束单身，甚至给予恋爱基金，但仍有少部分是极力反对的，用年轻人的说
法就是思想过于封建。宿舍的一个好友就为了恋爱的事情和家人展开了白热化的唇枪舌
战，甚至一夜未睡。她道尽了所有我们都明白的道理，可是她的父母却丝毫没有退让，
弄的双方都非常痛苦。终于明白不是所有掏心的话都能被理解，他们谁都没有错，只是
双方的立场不同罢了。
我都青春我做主，这是所有年轻人共同的理想，可是这条
路充满了艰辛。很多恋人都是因为家长的反对而最终没能走在一起，他们彼此相爱，却
无可奈何。我想对所有家长说，无论是支持的还是反对的：我们知道，你们所做的都是
出于对我们的爱，可是有些“过分”的爱会成为我们最深的痛，我们的人生是要靠自己
的双脚走完，就请相信我们选择的路，尽管它荆棘丛生，泥泞不堪，也无怨无悔。当我
们老去，回忆青春的痕迹，即使是伤痛，也会品出其中的幸福。

偶主要用iPad读pdf格式的paper，当然要在上面写写画画
一直在找如下的app
1，能和主流在线存储同步，比如dropbox
2，能直接在pdf上书写
3，手写时能缩放，这样字可以写的很小
4，笔画的感觉要细腻，真实
目前偶发现goodreader可以做到1，2，3，但是2操作不方便，要按好几下按钮
4只有penultimate能做到
enote taker 2，3能做到，4还行
哎，有没有各项都兼顾的？

从没试过goodreader手写。
goodreader最近比以前好多了，横着看的时候，本来在下半页，翻过去，自动到第二页
的上半页了，这个小改动很人性化，赞一个。
看很精细的PDF，例如很多数学公式那种，1024x768分辨率有点不够。

My question is what they do to improve the reading ability of the kids?
the kids are moved to the next level only when they pass a test. then what
if they just could not pass the test?
Anyways I am going for an orientation tonight, hopefully can get more info

每天15 分钟。如果花时间多了，老师会减量。
但效果很好。尤其是对上班族的爸爸妈妈们，不用费心了。只要看这就行了。

我女儿才上7个月，现在家里的故事书都能读了，但理解程度可能还是差些，毕竟太小。可以读chapter book，但不喜欢读没有画的书。

我就担心啊。因为我女儿的问题不是词汇量，而是理解能力的问题。
故事书都能读，但是深层的意思好像不能理解得很好。这样表现在她做数学题上。不能
正确地理解题目

小。可以读chapter book，但不喜欢读没有画的书。
