去年十二月尾的时候还查了The St. Regis New York的点数，才一万多点，当时还觉得
特别值，可惜后来订了W HOTEL，也是一万多。今天一查，The St. Regis New York变
成30000点了，而纽约好几家HOTEL在SPG上换点数已经不行了，只说Please contact us
to redeem your Free Nights.
估计这些改变都和30000点有些关系，苦了我们这些早期拥有SPG卡，辛辛苦苦存点数的
人了，呵呵。

The whole point of a "point system" is that they have total control over the
value of your "points" so that they always win.
The most ridiculous point system is the U.S. Bank credit card. They promise
you some opening bonus, but after that each $1 purchase only earns you HALF
OF A POINT.

Your statement is misleading .US Bank has many credit cards and it does have
credit card that earns you one point for $1 purchase (2 points for grocery
or gas and wireless phone charge). Unlike CHASE freedom , US bank defines
grocery as any store sells grocery, so even super walmart is grocery store.
Plus, it treats any charge from phone company as wireless charge, even
though the charge is internet. You can't generalize one card to all US bank
cards.
