我找到的是一个学校lab的tech职位，但是需要先用OPT，而且希望我一毕业马上就过去。
但是我现在F1还在申请reinstatement呢，真是不知道什么时候能申请OPT。
对方说我拿到F1后，等待OPT的过程中，他们可以给我个unpaid的title，让我先合法干
起来。
请问这里有没有人知道类似的事情呀？

看到新闻说更新中国护照可以跨区办理我住在Ohio 本应属于纽约领事馆管辖范围但
是到芝加哥更方便是否可以在芝加哥办理？

现在芝加哥变繁忙了，不一定给

huge problem here, your are not even in F1 status now, and who knows whether
USCIS will approve your reinstatement or not. Only after your f1 is
reinstated, you can apply for OPT.

现在的问题是，对方公司可以等到我拿到F1, 但是他们不想再等2，3个月到OPT生效。
有没有可能让他们给我个volunteer的title，让我在OPT生效前先做volunteer呢？

How long since you fell out of F1 status? And how soon you will graduate?
If you can graduate now and just out-of-status for less than a few months,
get H1 now and go abroad for H1 visa interview. You can come back
immediately to work.

That doesn't make sense. F1 reinstatement can easily take 3 to 6 months to
process.
对方公司的政策是不用完OPT不给办H1B
Tens of thousands of H1 visa/status each year are issued to aliens
that are not in F1 status at the time of filing the H1 petition. So your
company only hire aliens that are in the graduate school now? Because only
those aliens can possibly have any chance to get OPT.

这个他们网站上的标准时间是2个半月，学校说尽量催他们给在我毕业前办下来，如果
要等3个月以上的话，我也不用找工作了，直接回国了，因为毕业后就只能待60天。。。

一来他们是说必须把之前的visa完全用完，才给办H1B。如果是H1B transfer肯定就没

二来我的资历其实不足以应聘那个职位（需要至少一年工作经验，但我刚毕业），给
通融了下，因为OPT用完后正好就有一年经验了。
