请问大家，如果是fresh phd, 申请faculty同时申请博士后，如果已经签字博后了，但
拿到了faculty，算不算反悔呢？

父母明天就到了，正在到处研究，在insubuy上看到comprehensive 的一些保险有这个
$50000 acute onset pre-existing condition coverage，说明如下，但是不让我
copy，只能链接了。

我在eating area放了一块5*8的rug,是不是一定要rug pad，不放的话会不会把木地板
划坏？
rug pad还挺贵的，想省钱

If the postdoc is at a good place, you can request a 1-Y extension for
starting the faculty job. I know quite a few people did that. But probably
the person gave you the postdoc offer will gracefully say you don't need to
come after you tell him you have a faculty job offer.

地毯地下还要垫子，太麻烦了吧。那垫子是不是还要保护？
那玩意主要是固定地毯用的，省得地毯在光光的木地板上滑动。
你的木地板要是高级，就买吧。不然就无所谓了。

可能会需要在其他地方作些牺牲... 只是猜想。

once per policy period) in the same way as any other illness (up to age 70)
my colleague (not chinese) said her in-laws have used this, and it is
covered. but i am not 100% sure myself
