一个学校给年薪90K.查了这个系以前的Assistant教授的工资，5年前给的有92k，
93k, 我这个给的还不如人家5前的工资，这是不是给我留点空间让我谈判的呢？

pretty much every few min. once run network diagnostics it'll get fixed, the
drop again. only at work place, but iPhone wifi connect was fine all the
time. At home and other places it has not shown the same problem.

你这个情况可以理直气壮的直接要求match 别人的工资。
当然，你不用做得太aggresive, 比方说你可以装做虚心的指出说，
While I am not very familiar with the local living expense, I noticed that
some of my colleagues in the department were paid 92K or even 93K for their
first year's salaries. Assuming that those numbers reflect
the need for covering the living expense, I suppose that my salary should be
placed in a higher (or at least similar) level when considering the
inflation. Please let me know if this assumption is correct.

这个只有自认倒霉了，跟hr说没用啊，你经理又没做错事，只是管理风格不好；如果你
跟三线经理说，三线经理也许会提醒你经理不要micromanage,但是你经理要是知道是谁
告的状，你就吃不了兜着走吧，那还不如忍受着micromanagement。这种情况一般只有
主动找下家。

买过。感觉质量一般般，但是真的便宜。放在地毯上，中间一些地方特别容易翘起来。

换个好的路由

I suggest that you never threaten you must get 95k, unless you don't care
whether you get the offer. Always ask, but never threaten. Look at this from
a long term perspective. $5k difference is nothing. Some schools had
furloughs a few years ago. If you do well in your career, $5k is two days of
consulting work.

你的底线是人家offer letter上的数字, 除非你手里还有其他的offer.

你这个应该看专业和location吧，salary也要看qualifications的. 不过基本起薪应该
一样，
就看你怎么协商了。
