This seems the tradition of this board.
My experience is very similar to hhwj's.
I like Astronomy as a little child. (don't ask me how old)
I remember that I subscribed "Tian wen3 ai4 hao4 zhe2"
in China and learned many basic things from it. In fact there
were many professional articles in this journal, which were
difficult for me. I wonder if you had the same feeling.
I also had a refrector bought from Beijing planetarium.
Now I only can remember the magnifications are about 25 and 75.
