see tfl atlas pathfinder comparison, stage 3 I think is the limit of Atlas,
you cannot ask more for this 4wd setup, it's okay to handle normal snow
weather with snow mode.
It's not designed for serious(even mid level) offroading, so do Q7 and
Touraeg, even they have torsen, since non-lockable torsen's capa is still
limited, may be as not good as a well-adjusted high torque capacity clutch
pack based central diff, which can be locked for a relatively long period of
time.

Atlas用的是第五代Haldex四驱系统，中规中矩，说不上好，但也不坏。
话说回来，公路型四驱车的越野能力都很一般，能做轻度越野。如果是了为下雪天能开
出去，四驱有了就行，没什么好坏可言。越野或搞拉力赛车，才能看出好坏。
