最近收罢工影响，时间延后很多，不过personally tested纽约的还是很快，着急的同
学就近选择吧，听说LA网申也差不多。
个人timeline如下：
8、7 Wed 注意纽约只有周三8-10:30接受walkin， 街上排队领号，人不少，早点去，
不过5点去了肯定没人， 跟以前不一样的是要有一个回邮信封，哥走了半小时找
rockfeller的邮局那信封买邮票，这个很重要哦，进去后不用去cashier，没人，只有
一签证官，一天服务100人，叫号，继续排队，没问题，告诉36天左右收到，果然跟传
说中的一样，走人！
8、13 Wed 邮件寄出
8、14 Thu 收到
几年前记得当天取，去年是2天，以后肯定会更长

小孩是citizen或者resident且前一年跟你住超过半年应该可以

For NRA F1, you cannot claim your child as dependent for tax purpose, so
form 8812 may not be applicable to you. And I guess you cannot claim the
benefit any more.
I am in the same situation as you, so please let me know if you know a legit
way to claim.Thanks.

Form 8901, Information on Qualifying Children
Who Are Not Dependents (For Child Tax Credit) –
Form 8901 is obsolete beginning with the
2009 tax year. To be a qualifying child for
the child tax credit for 2009 and later tax years,
a child must be a dependent, so Form 8901
is no longer needed.
