Dear Consular Officer in Beijing:
My name is @@ and my wife is @@. We wish to invite my parents in-law @@(
Passport #: ) and @@ (Passport #: ) to visit us in the United States from
Oct 1st to Oct 31st 2012. I am writing this letter to support their
applications for B-2 visa and to clarify some of the concerns that you might
have.
We relocated here from @ Shanghai location in Aug 2008 with L1B and L2 visa
.We transferred to H1B and H4 status on Jan 3rd 2011. We only have I-797A
forms to explain our visa status as we don’t get a chance to leave the U.S
to get H1B and H4 visa page in the passports. Currently I am working as
senior Software Development Engineer in Testing in @. We have maintained
good financial status. I earn an annual salary of $ @ with complete benefits
package and have adequate funds to support my parents-in-law’s entire
expenses during their visit to the U.S, including flight tickets, local
transportation, accommodations, medical insurances and all other related
expenses. Enclosed please find our financial supportive files for your
reference.
The primary purpose of my parents-in-law’s visit is to spend time with my
family in
the U.S. In addition, we’re very happy that my parents-in-law could have a
chance to
see and experience the U.S., a very beautiful and different country from
China. We could imagine how proud they will be with such memories when they
return to China and talk with their friends. October is a good time for them
to come since they only have time to visit us in October after the farm
harvest. I am planning to take them to
After this visit, my parents-in-law will go back home. Besides my wife, my
parents-in-law have a young son who is a graduate student in the Central
Academy of Fine Arts in Beijing. Also my father-in-law has senior parents
who are over 77 years old and need to be taken care of. My father-in-law has
1 sister and 2 brothers. My mother-in-law has 2 sisters and 2 brothers. My
parents-in-law have been living in their hometown with their relatives and
friends for over 47 years. All the relatives live in the same town and my
parents-in-law keep good relations with them and enjoy living in that social
environment. They will be back home to prepare for the Chinese New Year
and get together with my younger brother, grandparents and their siblings.
There are a lot of farm works need them to do in spring and summer of 2013.
They have a houses property and a fish pond in their hometown. They enjoy
their health insurance coverage. They also have some deposit. Please refer
to their bank statements.
As my parents-in-law can’t speak English and may have some accent, we
greatly appreciate your consideration and kind help. Should you need any
further information, please do not hesitate to contact us. We appreciate
your attention to the application and look forward to the good news.
Sincerely,
