I have been calling them in the past 3 days and always got the same answer:
"currently we don't have any appointment available for B2 type in Shanghai,
pls call back later". Can someone comment on this? Has this happened before??
Thank you so much and sorry that I can't type Chinese on this computer.

如题，上次面签通过在北京，这次符合代签条件，可以在上海中信代签吗？
还有如果可以在上海中信交材料，它是把材料寄到北京使馆还是上海使馆？通常要多久
时间？
大使馆网页说的不甚清楚，网上说法不一，希望哪位xdjm亲历过的回答一下，谢谢！

请问 2009 年的期刊 Burrill Technology Report和同一家公司出的Biotech 2009:
Life Sciences Navigating the Sea Change是一回事吗？我需要的一个资料在2009年
的Burrill Technology Report里，但是现在买不到过期的期刊了，不知道这个Biotech
2009:Life Sciences Navigating the Sea Change是不是去年Burrill Technology
Report的合订本?

很正常。目前的时间段已经满了，以后的还没开放。
可以约其他使馆，现在可以在中国大陆任何使馆签。

But my city is close to Shanghai and I will hate to ask my parents to travel
far for the visa.
How long ususally this will last? Shall I call back everyday to check?

不好说。常来这个版和iflychina看看也可以。
秋季开学前这段时间是每年的高峰。之后应该就好多了。

和你遇到一样的问题。。。我家离上海就50公里。去其它地方签证太费钱费事了。
多看看iflychina上面的汇报吧。
还是就只能多打电话，兴许那天运气好，就有空位子出来的。

就算是高峰，以前也没有这么紧张的感觉啊。。。

据说他们现在一天要签1000多人呢。申请来美的人多了吧。

my card.
I thought now with the CITI drop-off service, there should be less ppl for
the appointments. I was hoping to get them here by mid July but I guess it
is not possible....

中信代签需要以前拿过同类签证，并且签证失效在一年之内（至少我上次查的是这样），
如果条件满足，强烈推荐，免去很多不必要的麻烦。
Nothing is impossible, just keep calling them, maybe you would get a spot.
我会让我爸妈如果有空的话，先约到最早的，比如9月，然后接着打电话，
有更早的空出来了，再换。损失点电话卡的钱罢了，没有办法的。

上海1天1k B2？以我几年来的签证感觉，不太可能，总体签1k还有可能。
可能非移民类是一个大箩筐，F1是旺季，就占用了B2的名额。
没有提前关注，失误啊。。。

想7月来就不要试了。上海下次开放的话，最早也是九月左右了。
只能去其他使馆试试了。
