Medical career is not for everyone. My suggestion for you is to start with
volunteering in hospitals or clinics, to find out if you're truly interested
in becoming a physician. Medical school will consume solid time and energy.
There are lots of easier and well-paid careers (nurse practitioner,
physician assistant, anesthesia assistant, etc).
PS. I do not have green card. There are about 35 medical schools that offer F-1 visa. About five schools or so offer loan, and for all other schools you can get loan if you find a co-signer who is a citizen or permanent resident. Money or status is not the reason to not apply. Lack of motivation is.
