Dear Visa Officer,
My name is Myself, the son of the applicants Father and Mother, requesting
your grant for my parents’ B2 visitor visas.
My parents and I have been planning for this 3-month family reunion for a
while. We have been trying to make it easy and efficient, and it turns out
the best way is for my parents to visit me in the United States. As working
professionals, both my wife and I are quite busy and it is very hard for us
to accommodate our schedules for an international trip. In addition, our
kids are both less than three years old, and I think a 24-hour long trip
will be too demanding for them at this point. My parents understand our
situations and they would love to come to visit us.
In addition, there is no better time than now for them to visit us. My
sister just went to college last year, and now my parents have more free
time to travel around. They care about and want to know how our lives are
like in the US and have shown a great interest in a bus tour to New York,
Washington, San Francisco, Chicago, and other world-famous metropolitan
cities. To show how grateful we are for their visiting, my wife and I are
very glad to pay for all their travel expenses. Attached is a tentative
schedule for a trip to the east coast.
My parents have no intention to immigrate into the United States. In fact,
they are typical old-fashioned Chinese. They live in the same small town in
which they were born and got a huge extended family there. My father has two
brothers and three sisters, and my mother has one brother and four sisters.
My parents are closely bonded to them and their own families. They really
enjoy this big relative network in our hometown. Although traveling in other
places from time to time, they have never thought about leaving their
relatives with whom they have been living for over a half century. Please
see attached pictures for a big happy family!
This trip is just a temporary arrangement. As I have mentioned above, they
really enjoy their current life in China. Both of them have decent pension
incomes. My mother is still employed at a supermarket because she enjoys
working. Neither of them speaks English and they will definitely come back
to their hometown after this trip.
Please kindly consider their request for visitor visas. We will deeply
appreciate your great help.
Sincerely,
Myself
