是没收他的文章。有个reviewer的意见是这样的：
"The figure X has been published in XXXXX 2014 proceeding and it was not cit
ed in this paper. So this should be considered as double submission".
收到老印的回信：
The XXXXX'14 paper (attached) is written by our collaborators which are also
authors of this paper. The XXXXX paper is a fundamentally different paper w
hich uses AAA for BBB. Our submission to YYYYY proposes an CCC scheme to add
ress DDD. They only share the basic device measurements which is used toward
completely different goals in these two papers.
This is a strong accusation without evidence, which could unintentionally da
mage the reputation of our group and is not acceptable from a high-quality c
onference like YYYYY.
我操，老印太不要脸了。振振有词的说同样的测试数据因为不同的原因就可以在两篇（
实际上是多篇）文章里不加引用的出现。

1. The Jungle Book-奇幻森林
这周重点关注的自然是迪斯尼重拍1967年的动画片《丛林之书》的真人电影《奇幻森林
》。这也是Jon Favreau 在《钢铁侠》系列和《牛仔大战外星人》之后又一次尝试商业

太糙了....

that's because with a BA or even MS in biology, you are more likely to get
into medical school or pharmacy school.

If it is the same figure, it is not double-submission. It is self-
plagiarism.

I agree. The reviewer should check both papers more carefully when
concluding that the paper is double-submission. If both papers are
proposing the same thing, then it is double-submission; otherwise, it is
self-plagiarism.

他老板是一个老中，还挺有名的，平时关系还不错。说self-plagiarism是准确的，不过
我觉得更严重。我已经给其中一个中国教授老板打电话了。他说这个学生投的时候他根
本不知道。我估计他给我写email的时候肯定没跟他老板商量。

如果是学生发的，估计老板不知道。而且这人complain的是reviewer, 不是你。如果
reviewer说是self-plagiarism, 估计他没话可说。我读phd时一篇paper，2个reviewer
推荐接受，一个reviewer反对，给的唯一理由是他觉得工作像course project. 我的co
-advisor看了大怒，写了封信给TPC chair说这个reviewer的评语insulting.
