how to know the result is better after corrected p-value? could you recommend some papers about the advantage?
I have another question. suppose you identified 10 differentially expressed genes using original p-value. (A) and you identified another 10 differentially expressed genes using corrected p-value. (B) how can we know computationally that B is better than A? One thing is true that currently there is no any markers which has been validated by various experiments. if this is ture, A is better than B or B is better than A doesn't make any sense. Because we don't know the true marker at all. If we don't know the true markers, how can we know B is better than A? If we know the true markers, why do we waste money to do the experiment again?
