一年前的旧闻了，用钱来解决问题了。昨天翻出来仔细看了一下

学校居然还有这么一个臭名昭著的 trail

the trail connects the dorms on the Storrs campus to off-campus apartments
and has only two exits at either end. Students sometimes use it for illicit

其实每个大药厂手里都有一大笔cash，或者准备买别的公司，或者准备不时之用。因为
前途很不明朗，所以都是处于持币观望状态。

这学校号称New England地区最大的公立学校，金玉其外、败絮其内，由此可见一斑。

存在就是合理，资本主义社会比的就是谁更有钱。
学校为了名声，可以杀一儆百，也可以包庇纵容，就看校领导有没有能力和魄力了。
对于政客，我作为一个旁观者，是不报什么希望的。

new england的公立学校很差的，说的刻薄点，对于本地人来说，只有爹妈穷、儿女也
不聪明的，才会去读

对教职员工的子弟还是有很大优惠的，很多人因此把子女送去读书。
如果有教授对女学生动手动脚，学校一般会怎么处理？当然，没留下什么DNA的证据。
如果和解的话，能否还留在学校教书呢？

我对有些学校看到的状况就是这样：
学校的中高层官员不求有功，但求无过，明哲保身，推诿搪塞，欺软怕硬，拉帮结派。
整体的能力显得比较低下，即使有官员想做点好事，能力也是严重不足。这些状况平时
看不出来，一旦真发生什么事情，那表现的淋漓尽致。
版上的牛教授我忠告你们：如果你能拿很多房顶，要以此为契机考虑跳槽，从外面拿
offer，即使最后留下来，也至少可以把现在的工资提高10%～30%。
