人体里大部分基因都是双拷贝的吧?除非是Y 染色体上的。

呵呵,所谓single copy gene自然是针对单倍体基因组而言了吧,否则注释gene locus 的时候不是得标两个chromesome,两个start/end bp,啥都得双份啦 house keeping gene是不是很多都有duplication/gene family,或者pseudogene什么 ,希望能避免这些相似序列对PCR的影响。 谢谢!

what parts of the construction are included in the 10 year warranty? normally different part of a house has differnt length of warranty, varying from 1 to 10 years...

Just because you have multiple copies of the same protein, does not mean all the mRNA are they same. For example, histone H4 has 14 different alleles ( I think) for exactly the same protein all with different mRNA. You can actually RT-PCR them all independently.

If you are using RT-PCR, please use multiple house-keeping genes. In addition, if you input same amount of total mRNA (or cDNA), the Ct value should be the same, or your house-keeping is been affected by the induced condition.
