Just realized this today, even though I went from 2 daycare (about $2000/mth
) to 1 daycare (the older one goes to public school now), the monthly
payment did not come down with after school program and other activities (
activities for two now since the younger one is also growing up). Here's the
list for reference:
2 kids swim, 1 once a week, another 1 twice a week: $250
After school care for older one: $300
2 art classes: $150
1 seasonable sports: $100 (e.g. 6 wks tennis, 6 wks basketball, etc.)
1 dance and kiddo piano (onsite at daycare): $150
See, we are not even joining the piano lessons yet.It's depressing from
expense stand point, but what the kids learn from all the classes are
interesting and encouraging. Some of the programs are not that necessary (e.
g. art class), but my husband always doesn't want to let money get into the
picture if they take the class or not, if they want to, we just tighten
spending ourselves and spoiled them so far.
