很多研究caner的文章一开始都是拿fibroblast cell做in vitro的实验，而不是

fibroblast属于原代细胞，没有突变。各种通路正常，可以说是standard,别人容易重复
最初3t3,也是为了有一个标准系。3t3不是原代

So if you have some discovery in fibroblast cells, how do you translate it
to cancer cells?

ras,src were cloned by transforming fibroblast at early days.
there are limitaion for sure,but even cancer cell line cannot reflect true
status, they have evolved during the isolation and passages in different
labs for years,and they are out of their niche. most of the people in cancer
field are biochemists,they want to know how molecules work.
