1) Laboratory Operations Director
A nonprofit company in Ann Arbor, MI, is looking for someone a true leader
that can build cohesive teams. Someone who understands the mind of a
physician/CEO and can work with that personality type. Someone very
confident in their abilities, someone who can gain trust. The person needs
to report to the CEO and lab manager. Prefers to hire someone that can be
very precise and direct with answers to CEO's questions. This is a high
level role and the salary is open and will depend upon the person's skills/
qualifications. A qualified candidate should have
--Solid molecular laboratory experience (worked in a CLIA/CAP lab preferred)
;
--Experience in Next Generation Sequencing;
--a PhD (molecular, biosciences, biochemistry, etc);
--previous supervisory or manager experience in a lab (or in a leadership
role)
The position is a full time, direct hire opportunity, , with benefits.

I know for sure there is one opening in the same company at Phoenix office.
This position is at lower level than the upper one with the following
requirements I guess:
--Graduate degree in life science preferred;
--Experienced in molecular biology, such as PCR;
--Experience in ION TORRENT sequencer a big plus, other type of squencer
should be OK;
--Familiar with (at least comfortable with) CLIA regulations: everything
used in the lab can be tracked!)
