1. Scientist/Senior Scientist, Antibody Display Technology
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Scientist with strong
hands-on experience in antibody display (phage/yeast) to support discovery
research projects by screening to identify lead candidate therapeutic
antibodies, as well as engineering molecules for improved function.
Responsibilities:
Drive efforts to isolate, clone, build, and optimize biologics
molecules to support various therapeutic programs, using phage/yeast display
technology.
Utilize automated technologies for processing samples (QPix, TECAN,
iQue) and data management software.
Execute protein binding assays such as ELISA, FACS, and OCTET in a
high-throughput format.
Construct libraries for affinity maturation of clones.
Express, purifies and characterizes antibodies in biochemical and
functional
assays (e.g. affinity, activity).
Record and capture all necessary data for internal use and IND
filings.
Requirements:
PhD with 3-7 years, or MS with 5-10 years of experience in
Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Immunology or related discipline.
Construct and manipulate Fab and scFv antibody libraries in order
to isolate antibodies against a number of targets for different therapeutic
disease areas
Oversee the molecular biology operations including isolation of RNA
from immunized animals; establish phage/yeast display libraries, panning/
sorting and evaluating resulting antibodies
Design and execution of selection and screening strategies to
isolate high affinity antibodies that meet criteria such as species cross-
reactivity and biological function
Experience in phage/yeast display antibody library construction a
