帮朋友招个博后,台湾朋友,人非常好,博后五年两篇Cell,绝对牛人。 Postdoctoral Associate – Immunometabolism and Immunotherapy Tracking Code 6934 Job Description The Chang Lab at The Jackson Laboratory (JAX) is seeking a Postdoctoral Associate to investigate metabolic regulation of immune cells in the tumor microenvironment. We are especially interested in dissecting how metabolic events coordinate tumor-infiltrating T cells and control cancer progression in order to benefit immunotherapy. The project involves molecular/cellular immunology, protein chemistry, cellular signaling, metabolism, and mouse genetics. For more information see van der Windt GJW et al. Immunity. 2012; Chang CH et al. Cell. 2013; Chang CH et al. Nat Immunol. 2016; Chang CH and Qiu J et al. Cell. 2016. The successful candidate will be expected and encouraged to develop an independent research program using the broad array of resources and expertise available to the Chang laboratory ( https://www.jax.org/research-andfaculty/tools/scientific-research-services). The candidate will leverage the extensive mouse-specific resources of JAX in combination with immunological and biochemical/molecular biological techniques, as well as advanced technologies, such as CRISPR, single-cell RNA-Seq, and other omic technologies, to address his or her scientific questions. In addition to lab-based training, JAX has developed a unique program for trainees to expand their professional skills in science communication, entrepreneurship, teaching, grant writing, mentoring and laboratory management to best prepare postdocs for future career opportunities. The Jackson Laboratory http://www.jax.org in Bar Harbor, Maine, USA, is recognized internationally for its excellence in research (e.g. The Nathan Shock Aging Center and Center for Novel Alzheimer’s Disease Models), unparalleled mouse resources, and outstanding training environment characterized by scientific collaboration and exceptional core services - all within a spectacular setting adjacent to Acadia National Park. Scientist Magazine polls repeatedly place The Jackson Laboratory among the top 15 “Best Places to Work in Academia” in the United States. Required Skills The project is anticipated to provide new insights into cancer immunotherapy for high-impact publications and to generate new therapeutic concepts. Hard working candidates with the drive for success are encouraged to apply. The ability to design, execute and analyze an independent research project as well as exceptional verbal and written communication skills are expected. Preference will be given to self- motivated, goal-oriented, and creative individuals with a commitment to solving biological problems. Required qualifications include a PhD in immunology, bioengineering, neuroscience, bioinformatics, or a related biology field. Candidates who will soon completed their PhD degree, or those with ≤2 years of postdoctoral experience with a strong training background in biochemistry, metabolomics, proteomics, and/or genomics are encouraged to apply. How to apply To apply, please submit (1) a cover letter describing past research accomplishments, research interests/plans, and career goals, (2) a current CV, and (3) the contact information of three references, as one PDF file. Apply online at http://www.jax.org/careers/postdoc.html. Select link for Bar Harbor position #6934. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, age, mental disability, physical disability, medical condition, sex, sexual orientation, genetic information, ancestry, marital status, national origin, veteran status, and other classifications protected by applicable state and local non-discrimination laws. Job Location Bar Harbor, Maine, United States Position Type Full-Time/Regular Salary 50,000.00 - 80,000.00 USD
