1. The recent series of corp America failures hurt the investing community
worldwide. I doubt that the capital markets in the rest of world can
benefit from the US embrassments only by seeing the diverted capital flow
from the US.
On the contrary, the recent problems are actual worldwide problems.
2. The EU accounting (or International Accounting) is no better than
the US GAAP. Actually the profits from EU accounting are generally
higher than those from the US GAAP.
