Manaer and Sr Manager are titles in Finance, Operation, Audit... Mid or Back
office in Business side. The front office has no Mgr title, much more flat.
No one is too NIU unless you are MD or above.

Front office is directly engaged in making money for the invest bank, mid
office monitors the overall risk that the bank is taking, and back office
does all the administrative support work such as record keeping, clearing
trades, tax reporting, etc. In essence, the front office tries to make
money, the mid office tries to prevent the firm from going under, and the
back office does all the dirty support work. In terms of pay, front office
