第二回意外
寂寞深闺, 柔肠一寸愁千缕。惜春春去，几点催花雨。–– [宋] 李清照
一如往日，汪茜身穿式样简洁的衣服：一件白色收腰衬衫，配着一条红黑格子的短裙
，简单却青春明快。与往日不同的是，一头碎长发改束成了马尾，为的是去招聘会

“吱 –– ”急刹车的声音打断了汪茜的思绪。她抬起头，赫然发现自己走到了马路
中央，前面不远处亮着红灯，而身子左侧大约半米处是刚刚停下的那辆车！汪茜惊
慌的不知如何是好，望向车内，司机师傅正摆手示意她靠边。她于是退回到路边，
那辆车也靠边停好，车上一前一后走下两个人。前面的司机师傅冲她喊， “怎么回
事，没看到红灯啊？” 被吓坏了的汪茜连声说对不起，说着眼里又有了泪。后面的
人问， “你没事吧？” 正在慌乱的擦泪汪茜说， “我没事，谢谢叔叔。” 司机师
傅扑哧乐了：“什么？叔叔？你叫他叔叔？

看management的书有啥用啊？那种书除了水还是水。
不如看看麦肯希的Valuation,高级会计，options and derivatives这种书呢。。

如果人家不做finance相关的呢？

Come on, Valuation, advanced accounting are all practical books for business
, not only for finance. They are used mostly by top management consulting
firms.
Quite the converse, do you have any sense what these management books tell
about? Will you, if you run a private company, rely on these bullshitting
books talking about "organization structure, management style and objectives
, etc" to run your own business??
Of coz if it's required by a course, then things are different. I'm only
assuming

Please... run your business and let me know your answer again. Yes, to read
and explain the financial reports, to evaluate the project, to make certain
kind of decisions, you need those method and tools. But the guy asks about
the management. Those consulting firms are going to convince their customers
with those "fancy" analysis. But as I looked in it, it did not help for
some concrete projects. Can you juet let the account manager know what's the
niche market to enter with the new product with

请问在那里可以找到cases from consulting firm?那本valuation里面有吗？
或者还有其他什么比较好的management consulting 的书可以推荐？

我没有把范围说清楚.
I am just looking for a book that talk about fundamental of people
management. Nothing about entrepreneur, finanical, accounting, etc.
其实国内的'厚黑'是其中一个分类. 不过,人在美国,多少要学点'有美国特色的资本主
义'.
