过去几年里，即使人人知道忍和导师关系公开僵化，而且一直找不到工作，但从来没有
人感到忍有什么颓废难堪之处。没有人会看不起忍，当然也根本没有人觉得有必要同情
他，包括和忍关系密切的也，虽然谁都知道这些事情，特别是两年多的半失业状态并不
是二十多岁的人可以坦然承受的。或许只有飘飘始终忘不了曾经看见过的那双痛苦绝望
的眼睛。
飘飘绝不是咄咄逼人的女人，但说到底，她对面前这个男人的关心超过世界上任何人。
所以飘飘坚持着接下去说，“昨天也说，你当年交往的女人很可能就是这个被杀的教授
。是这样么？那时候你和我说的让你很痛苦的女人就是她，对么？”
也许意识到自己连接的两个问句会让忍反感，飘飘把关心完全流露出来，真诚地说，“
忍，如果心里有什么难过的事情，对我讲出来好吗。我永远都是你的朋友。”
这次忍没有丝毫延迟，立刻回答说，“也这么说么？他弄错了。我从没明确告诉过也自
己在和哪个女人交往，除了已经结婚的毛米。我没有这个习惯。而且，现在那个人已经
不在巴尔的摩了。”
最后一句话确实也没有骗飘飘。
飘飘失望地低下头。不能再多说了。如果是一年多以前，飘飘也许会继续表达自己的关
心和疑惑。但现在这已经够了。

Yale在国内名气响一点，地理位置也靠近NY一点，不错的
Duke好像MBA名气也蛮大的气候好一点

It seems that the priority rank should be: Yale > Duke > Cornell.
Did not expect people think so low of Cornell.

If you plan to go back to China right away, yeah the overall
Yale name is stronger than Duke. If you want to stay in the US,
Duke Fuqua opens much more doors than Yale SOM.

Nod, Yale is not that reputaed within the industry compared to Duke. But the
sheer powerful force of brand name will be better in China. Cornell is a
great school, just relatively not as high percieved as the other niu schools
.

Duke: can't copy homeworks
Yale: too small. yale is famous, but mba program sucks
Cornell: best of 3

Cornell business school is so so. It should be second-tier.
Yale business school is good at Econ. and finace. That is all.
Duke is more balanced. Good at everything. Especially in marketing.

Duke is strong at healthcare, mgt, but not finance.
Yale is good at general mgt, finance.
Now the ranking is comparable. Duke is sliding, but Yale SOM is climbing up
quickly.

For the concentration in finance for example:
faculty research: Johnson > Fuqua > Yale SOM
MBA placement: Yale > Johnson >= Fuqua
alums influences and networks: Yale >= Johnson > Fuqua
location: New Haven > Ithaca > Durham (NYC-centric)
not sure about the case for other tracks like management consulting,
strategies, accounting, etc. Yet I suspect that Yale SOM still contribute
the most graduates to McKinsey and BCG as compared with Fuqua or Johnson

faculty research in finance: Johnson > Faqua > Yale SOM
I fon't agree with you, the rank should be Faqua > Johnson=Yale, I judge
this from the publication in last 5 years

you can be right, I have not read too many of Fuqua finance faculty's papers
yet. Nevertheless I was just reading Viswanathan's paper on liquidity, and
he seems really excellent. I adored Johnson the most out of the three,
probably because it has Maureen O'Hara and Bob Jarrow. Jarrow is among the
greatest geniuses in fixed incomes and credit research, and you know, O'Hara
is almost synonymous with market microstructures theory. They say that it is
just a matter of time that she will receive ano

I have heard that the dept is in an expansion, and there is at least one new
faculty member coming in fall. I didn't pay much attention honestly

Cornell and Yale are Ivy League. Duke not.
