股市每天4：30关闭，Fund的NAV一般更新要晚几个小时，应该是他们需要时间计算吧。
我想问一下，如果在4：30以前购买，是按照当天关闭后更新的NAV；是不是4：30以后
购买的全都是按照第二天关闭后的NAV？即使是在4：30之后但是Fund的NAV更新之前？
新手，请大家指点一下，谢谢。

想了解些data mining方面的东西 (web log, social ranking etc.),
最好和工业界接近的, 上面提到的两个会议是不是该领域最高水平的了?
各自侧重哪些方面? 还有什么会议在这个领域比较好?

I thought stock market close at 4:00PM.
As to whether you get current day NAV for mutual fund, it depends on a
number of factors such as which fund family you are buying, which brokerage
you are using, which way you use to fund the purchase and the time of your
purchase (before or after market close). You need to read their instructions
carefully to figure it out. But in general, it has nothing to do with the
time they update their NAV.

用航空里程换，3k mile左右吧，订阅就可以online access

thank you theisland. After I read your post I did a little bit research.
My funds are from Fidelity. To answer myself,
1) Mutual funds: NAV update daily after market close, between 4pm and 7pm.
2) For most mutual fund orders placed before 4 p.m. ET, the price is
typically the current day's closing price.
So all orders placed after 4pm the price will be next day closing NAV.

ICDE or ICDM, I do not think that ICDE is a DM conference. It is mostly
about DB. I have to say that ICDE is not as good as SIGMOD/VLDB. KDD is the
best DM conference.
