Job Description: Sr. AC-DC Design Engineer - Mac Adapter internal designs
Position Overview:
This is an excellent opportunity to work on the forefront of new power
management designs and technologies with the exemplary company consistently
bringing innovations in the industry. In this position, you will be part of
pride developing innovative designs, which are implemented in products used
by millions of people. The position primarily involves high-density offline
power supply’s development for Apple’s next generation Macintosh platforms
spanning from notebook computers, desktop computers, servers, and
standalone displays
Responsibilities:
As a Sr. AC-DC power supply design engineer, you will be driving innovative
products design and execution from concept investigation and design analysis
to successful production execution; that includes - design analysis,
modeling & simulations, schematic/BOM generation, PCB layout, DFM, prototype
developments, tests & validations, qualification, safety/REL certifications
and taking product to production using large volume manufacturing OEMs. The
candidate must be hands-on power supply circuit designer and be able to
design power supply without being dependant on external power supply vendors.
1)Participate in core architecture investigation while working closely with
Power architect; Select best design option for power metric performance
optimization including but not limited to efficiency, power density, cost,
reduced carbon foot print and scalability
2)Lead Power supply design concept definition in collaboration with cross-
functional team and power supply module vendors in some cases.
3)Provide design simulation, calculations and analytical models for
prediction of design concept outcome
4)Provide design risk assessments, mitigation plans, development lessons
learned and proof of concepts
5)Provide design Schematic and BOM; Work with layout team for power supply
layouts. Conduct design and layout reviews with cross-functional teams.
Adhere to robust design methodologies for successful project execution.
6)Provide prototypes test and validation results, document multi-dimensional
activities. Hands-on work in lab is must.
7)Keep abreast of state-of-the are technologies and Perform competitive
bench marking for each project
8)Provide technical support for production issues debug and resolutions
9)Conduct power supply seminars and training for cross-functional teams

Job Requirements:
➢MSEE in power electronics with 10+ years experience MUST. PhD
preferred.
➢Candidate must have hands-on experience of power supply design and
possess deep knowledge of offline conversion topologies including PFC,
resonant converters, LLC and analog/digital controls loops.
➢Candidate must be intimately familiar with power supply safety and
environmental certifications, offline controllers, components, magnetic
design, power supply layout and state-of the art techniques for efficiency
optimizations including no load/light load efficiency techniques.
➢Strong analytical/problem solving skills and ability to guide
critical decisions
➢Must possess good understanding of thermals, mechanical and
packaging challenges. Must possess knowledge of high volume manufacturing

Sr. Power Systems Engineer
Job Summary
The Power Systems team is seeking an enthusiastic Senior Power Systems
Engineer who will be responsible for the electrical design and qualification
of AC-DC power supplies and adapters. This is a individual contributor
design engineering position. The job entails working with cross-functional
groups to continually push the envelope of technology implemented in Apple
products.
The ideal candidate is someone from a consumer electronics or power supply
background who has designed high volume, high quality power products.
Key Qualifications
Required Experience and Skills:
BS/MS EE or equivalent
10+ years industry experience needed
Absolutely must have great EE fundamentals
Extensive AC-DC power supply circuit design experience
Especially flyback, pfc and resonant topologies
Knowledge of state-of-the-art techniques in power electronics
Excellent knowledge of control-loop theory
Detailed knowledge of transformer design
System application of power supplies, including thermal performance

说建议让他换一种方法实现,老是跟我找借口,说他的方法也是一样的,说我的方法麻烦,
我还花了半天时间告诉他为什么要用STL的vector,而不是MFC的CPtrArray.心想"怕麻
烦还出来工作干嘛?又不是啥金枝玉叶,有本事让你老爹老妈养着你啊!"第二次同样的事
情再次发生,我马上说,"你每天吃饭麻不麻烦,我还想吃一次饭能管好几年呢."今天再次
发生同样的情况,给我用STL的vector,声明为private的,然后定义了一堆public的函
数,GetAt, Add, Remove,而且还是inline的,我一看就来气,我说你不能定义成
public的成员变量就完了,人家说成员变量定义成公有的不好,这什么道理啊?还说让
我不要管这些事情了?看来是不是我
