If I convert $5000 to traditional IRA now for year 2010 and then immediately
convert to roth IRA, is this counted as roth 2010 or 2011?
in other words,can I make anothere contribution up to $5000 for year 2011
and then convert to IRA again?

因为听说EVDO上网比较便宜，所以，想弄一个试试。
但看规格说明里，不支持rev a，可看有的帖子说能升级。
有没有正在使用的铜锈，给介绍一下。

Contribution and conversion are totally different things.
If you haven't contribute to IRA (of any kind) at all for 2010,
you can contribute $5000 for 2010 and another $5000 for 2011 now.
Whether you contribute to traditional IRA or Roth IRA (if you
qualify), or to a mix of them, is your own choice.
On the other hand, you can convert part or all Traditional IRA
to Roth IRA. How much you convert does not affect your $5000 annual
contribution limit. Conversion may have tax consequence so you
need to fill corresponding entries in form 8606.

you can convert in 2011, or in 2012, or in 2013, or any year, until
the congress change the law.
