Second, winter is slow season, 1 month or longer is usual.
Third, to increase exposure, you can try CL, Zillow (free), or pay someone
to advertise in your local MLS system.
Fourth, when you find a tenant, remember never sign a lease that ends in
winter again!
Last, don't ever lower your standards because of the difficulties you are
facing. You would rather suffer some pain now than dealing with a bigger
prolonged pain later due to a bad tenant.
