搞个大点的分子,没做过全合成的总以为放一堆博士后上去就行了，根本不是这么回事
给你连几个环上去，空间位阻一变，脱个保护基都难。
不要看着牛人写的都轻而易举，构思对了自然事半功倍。 不然怎么说Baran 牛呢。

才把holton的放出去。holton做得比KC漂亮多了，不然KC发个屁nature。而且挣大钱的

之所以JACS先出来，是因为老K骚包，把文章送给了Nature的消息，打电话告诉了ACS的
三版小报CEN的记者，该记者通知了JACS的编辑部，马上从桌子上找出了holton的稿件
，加急发表。。。老K还没有能力左右JACS，其关系和JACS一直不太好。。不管是BARD
还是STANG。。。

Total synthesis went to a dead end decades ago. Recently, total synthesis
equals to extensive routine work and extraordinary amount of labor work. No
new concepts or knowledge is created in this field. Total synthesis itself
is just a combination of multiple reactions to transform some simple
compounds to complicated ones and the route is designed by retrosynthesis (
which was awarded to EJC). For this reason, I believe Nobel prize committee
will not give prizes to anyone for his contributio

还暗示holton先做出来的消息是“rumor”

有些得诺奖的研究，像那个C60的工作，好像也没什么重大的应用吧（俺不是内行，说
错了请大牛指
教）。有相当一部分方法学的发现，都是全合成的side project,至少从这一点看，全
合成还是有
积极意义的，当然这年头，这种发现貌似是越来越少了。其实给不给奖，跟咱也没啥关
系，全合成的
