Molecular Biologist
Qualifications:
Advanced degree in Molecular or Cell Biology, with 5+ yrs experience or Ph.D
. with 0-2 yrs experience, in genetic engineering;
Excellent attention to detail, good communication skills;
Team oriented, but can perform independently.
The ideal candidate has recent hands-on experience in transferring antibody
genes from hybridomas to cell lines.
Principal Responsibilities:
Isolate genetic DNA from hybridomas, create vector(s) and transfect
monoclonal antibody into immune cells;
Identify commercially available antibodies of interest;
Negotiate and manage projects with antibody shops;
Reports to CSO.
Additional Information:
This position is in a dynamic company that is in the development phase of a
revolutionary biotechnology with applications in biodefense and food safety.
