在填DS-3035的时候有一项' whether you are funded by government or
international organization'，考虑到目前项目是NIH支持的，所以选择了 ‘YES'.
可是后来看精华区里的帖子，好像这一项应该选择 'NO'的？请问如果选择YES，会不会
影响豁免结果啊？请有经验的人指点指点啊，多谢！！

公司发的option通过e-trade网站交易，要求填写W-8BEN或者W-9表格，我到底改填哪一
种？本来寄了W-8BEN，因为忘记签名，所以没有更新，而且他们还发信问我We will
also need a signed letter of instruction explaining why you have a US social
security number and address even though you are claiming foreign tax status.
到底该填哪一种？谢谢。

SQL Server 2008 introduced new data types, programming features, and
improved programming environment support for SQL developers. There are

R2) from previous versions of SQL Servers. This session will provide an
overview of new features for developers.

Tong is currently a SQL Server DBA with experience of managing and

field about 4 years ago, Tong was a .NET developer. Tong is trying to
pick up
knowledge on Oracle from CINAOUG and maybe one day can open the door to
enter the Oracle realm.

I need to do a fast search in a column with floating point numbers in a
table of SQL server 2008 R2 on Win 7.
the table has 10 million records.
e.g.
Id value
532 937598.32421
873 501223.3452
741 9797327.231
ID is primary key, I need o do a search on "value" column for a given value
such that I can find the 5 closest points to the given point in the table.
The closeness is defined as the absolute value of the difference between the
given value and column value.
The smaller value, the closer.
I would like to use binary search.
I want to set an unique index on the value column.
But, I am not sure whether the table will be sorted every time when I search
the given value in the column ?
Or, it only sorts the table one time because I have set the value column as
unique index ?
Are there better ways to do this search ?
Any help would be appreciated.

NIH支持不等于政府支持
赶紧选NO。否则，不用办了，政府支持的一般不豁免的

你自己的什么信息都没有说，所以没法答复你。
这样吧，看一看W-8BEN和W-9的说明（甚至表格）你就知道了。

我的问题和你一模一样。。。
相信lz还是第一年，所以有这个问题。
我研究了好多天了，我觉得两个表都有不太适用的地方：
- W-9是Resident alien用的，刚来的话还没满足条件。
- W-8上的certification有一句话，For broker transactions or barter exchanges,
the beneficial owner is an exempt foreign person as defined in the
instructions.但H/L显然也不是exempt foreign person（确实预计会待满183天的）。
不知道有谁有确切答案。我已经去IRS office问过了，他们的人说关于NR的情况不归他
们管。。。
