通读pub519，翻遍精华区，还是疑惑，不能得要领。
希望有高人给些经验之谈
本人情况：
2006年入美F1, 08年OPT -> H1B, H1B 10月1日生效。
08年结婚, LP 2007年入美，至今F1，无SSN。
我的理解是，我必须先file extention，使09年H1B天数>183天, 用fisrt year choice
，使得我08年10月1日-12月31日是resident. 这样我LP 可以按 Nonresident Spouse
Treated as a Resident 和我一起填 joint return "for an entire year 2008".
这种情况我要有两个statement：一个声明我用first year choice，另一个声明我LP
和我一起按resident填joint return.
不知道我的理解对不对？
还是我哪怕file extention 还是要按pub519 里第六章 dual status填？
还有问题是如果我和LP按resident joint return填，是不是就没有5000 treaty?

长久以来的一个顾虑，我总是担忧我有一天就剩下一个大脑。我时常梦到这种情况，没
有手脚没有身体只有一个大脑泡在什么液体里然后被放在什么地方固定着。
我去看过心理医生，医生说可能是压力过大，对于不到30岁刚刚过的我实在是想不出压
力是从哪里来的。就总是有一种我要是那样了的话我宁愿死。
也不知道为啥要发这样的帖子，也不想恶心大家，就想说有没有人可以稍微聊聊，晚上
有的时候我会胡思乱想。

I just got a job offer from a NPO, the duties include month end close,
budgeting, variance analysis, prepare F/S and audit schedule etc....
I am wondering whether the nature of the business----nonprofit will limit
the growth and mobility of my career a lot? Is a job in a public company
doing one specific area (say Fixed assets or inventory) better than the job
I described above in a NPO?

你要算算怎样合算：
1. 全年file 1040NR,claim Treaty,but no deduction for your wife's education
expense. Your wife is treated as a dependent.
2.(I am not sure whether there is a first year choice when you just change your status? When you just come to the US, there is a first year choice.)
File extension first and you also have to file W-9 first for your wife's
ITIN, then file 1040 married filing jointly, you may also claim your wife's
education on Form 8863. No treaty.
In either case, no dual-status.

我觉得不会啊。机会是自己的还要靠自己把握。
工作还是看你自己怎么expand。
我们公司一个operating公司的comptroller就在npo有十年的背景。

AIA不考试，拿到注册建筑师就可以申请加入。
考注册建筑师的话，先查所在州的要求，满足了条件才让考，除了ARE外，很多州要加
试。
如果连名字都没搞清楚，很怀疑你有考试资格。

还是说你问的是如何给一个类本身（而不是某一个具体实例）加方法？
那就更简单了，直接在类对象本身上加就可以了。

搂住就是在问信息嘛。Engineer要求三年经验，arch 不清楚。好像要考八门？？

It maybe harder to switch to corporate moving forward....but not impossible.
Everything is possible. Generally speaking, when companies are hiring,
they would like to hire people with the exact experience in the same
industry to minimize the learning curve. You will see a lot of people stay
with NPO for decades to come. The longer you stay with NPO, the more
difficult to switch to corporate America. In short, the experience with NPO
is not as valuable unless that's where you want to stay l

你是国营公司? 怎么是comptroller?
国营的当然和NOP比较接近了.

如果我想家的是已有的method的一个overload 如何？
class c 有一个method func(int)
我想加一个 func（int，int）的overload 该如何？

it's easier to go into government if you have NFP experience.

Python不支持method overload。你需要自己判断类型来dispatch。

Do you have other offers at hand? Are you desperate for landing a job? In
term of the current economy, you can answer these by yourself and be ready
to make decision.

这个不能完全算 dynamic，毕竟 definition class 的时候就必须 define method 了。如果
只是对实例动态加 method，用
obj.methodname = Types.MethodType(method, obj, obj.__class__)
这个可以用在在 obj 定义以后。对 class 就直接加。

This goes deep. python authors used to work towards overloading idea
(PEP3124), but later generic function is preferred.
