Pogorelich is undergoing a prolonged dreadful depression since his wife and
teacher, semi-mother as well I guess, died. If you subscribe to the romantic
notion that internal tension preconditions the gush of creativity, or you
despise this cliche but nonetheless still find some value in it, this is an
interesting time to listen to him, and see him balded. They might be the
moments you won't be able to recatch if he ever recovered --- heartfelt wish
he will someday.
