Takacs Quartet is playing the complete beethoven cycle (6 nights) at New
York's Alice Tully Hall. Takacs quartet, which is expecting their 30th
anniversery, emerged from oblivion only recently. Now they're in the top of
their form. With the leaving of the violist, Topping, in August, there are not
many chances to hear them as in records. These events coincided with the
release of their recording of beethoven's late quartets, which completed their
critically acclaimed traversal. The past two conc

前两天有人在mailing-list里送票，刚刚听了一场贝多芬的弦乐四重奏。
俺们这小地方，听场音乐会也不易。虽说演奏者不是什么有名的，但大家
却也都听的有滋有味。上半场曲目是op18的no.1和no.2，下半场是op130。
贝多芬早期的op18俺还是比较熟的，尤其no.1，因为每拿到一套新的CD，都
是先听op18的no.1和op59的no.1。因此现场就可以好好enjoy，彻底把注意力
放在演奏和配合上。下半场的130不太熟，注意力主要放在音乐上。op130
的最后一乐章最初是大赋格，后来大赋格单独作为op133单独出版，贝多芬
就又替op130写了末乐章。据演奏的人介绍，这个末乐章写于1826年11月，
也就是贝多芬去世前4个月，应该是贝多芬最后的四重奏，然而听上去，却
非常的欢快并充满了幽默感，和晚期的四重奏风格迥异，不能不让人惊讶。
