This is before MS $200 cash back, so actual cost is even lower.
My question is, is this a good deal even without considering the $200 cash
back?

I think it is ok.
If it is for quick resell, I think it is hard to resell a whole set. but for
investment, it is a good buy.

贵了,87年的金猫是最常见的.
不过也贵不到哪里去,放着也好.

you can buy some canadian 24k gold coins. They are cheaper. Or US first
spouse 1/2 oz gold coins. After rebate, you can get below spot rate.

请问大侠有无介绍各年份熊猫筋币的链接，或是市场参考价？
读了您的大作才感觉到自己以前都在瞎买，希望能更多指教。
另外我买的这套是P,与UC没有区别吗？

Maples are cheaper for a reason. Resale value is also bad. Krugands are even
cheaper. Bars are cheaper.
I like the pandas because I think they are the prettiest in the design and
every year they are different.

For example on Bulliondirect, they first sold out buffalo, then eagle, then
pandas, then franc, peso, kangaroos, krugands, and they still have maple for
sale $50 above spot.
I have no idea why no one wants maple.

maple is the first pure gold coin if I am not wrong. So there are plenty of
them on the market. And Canadian people may not like to buy it. We chinese
people now are rich so that we buy panda crazily. There is a culture
embedded in the coins.
I am Chinese that's why I like panda best. US people like Buffalo better.

精致(P)一般比普制的要贵很多,但是要看年份,87年的没什么区别,95,96年1 OZ精致猫
是所有金猫里最贵的,92年精致套猫是所有套猫里最贵的(95,96精致猫只有1 OZ规格的)
,82年98年金套猫是所有普制猫里最贵的,83,95套猫也比较贵,然后是93,94年的,其它年
份都差不多金价或者略高.
具体各规格的价格也不同,有人喜欢1 OZ普制猫,82是筋,有人喜欢 1/2 OZ普制猫,98年
是筋,象我只集得起最小规格的(1/20 OZ),98,83的就比较贵.
