received the denial email today. Too bad.
Filed June 2008 with I485.
background:
PhD from top university.
postdoc now.
cancer research.
18 papers (all good journals, IF 6-8).
citation 104
conferences: 14
international awards: 2
review: 6
CBS, KCAL, discovery TV news reports.
active or full member for AACR, SigmaX.
recom letters: 8, 5 independent from EU, Japan.

my lawyer said he never see denial notice without RFE. It is too weird.
I know someone with weaker background got approved with EB1A.
Maybe I am too unlucky.

which center? how many 1st author paper?
doesn't matter, denial w/o RFE is still ridiculous. your case is very strong.

it is just too stupid.
Today my lawyer told me that only reason I was denied is because CIS lost
all my documents but they did cash my check!!
How can they cashed check which came with the documents, then said they can
not find my documents?
Stupid US CIS.
I am going to consider leaving this country now.
