Have not touched PDE for a long time. Kind of rusty and got confused by
one statement in a paper.
1-D diffusion PDE
dq/dt - D * d(dq/dx)/dx = -S(q)
x from 0 to inf, no flux at 0 and inf (dq/dx=0 at x=0 and inf)
where S(q) = 0 if q(x) <= p(x), and S(q) = (q - p)/tao if q(x) > p(x)
D is a constant, p(x) = exp(-x), tao->0,
S(q) essentially relaxs
