and protest over Japan's prolonged detention of a Chinese
skipper.
1) "Solemn representation", what is the meaning? I googled,
and it seemed only Chinese use this expression. What is the
equivalent expression used by other countries.
2) ..over Japan's -prolonged- detention..
This is actually quite different from the Chinese version,
