Yes, it is strange. You need your spouse's support. Doesn't really matter if the talk is with a native speaker or not, because you have learned the language and just need practice. Of course, it matters if the purpose is to improve accent.
Thanks..... Most time I read paper and write papers... and feel it's a waste of time to watch TV and newspaper. I will try to change from now on.
