第一件是昨天才完工的, 水晶花的那个是给朋友的妈妈做的, 蝴蝶那个也是前几个星期
做的了, 最近好象做首饰的兴致不如以前了, 大家凑和看:))

wow kittybaby mm, long time haven't seen your work la!!!
I love the first one, it really look like chinese bridal necklace.... very
brilliant colors!!! Garnet, citrine, and amethyst?
I went to my consignment meeting today, so apparently the jeweler prefers
sterling silver pieces because she is afraid people will have issues with GF
pieces... unless I use 100% real gold (sigh, I dont have that much money to
buy all real gold wires!!!!)

en, I'am very interested in knowing too. I think maomao did the wiring(24g
wire??) herself, and maybe use the hammer to flatten them a little??? Really
want to learn!

i think the thicker gauge wire was formed and then hammered (for added
strength) then a 26 or 28g was wire
wrapped to the thicker gauge wire?

楼上的MM, 那个蝴蝶项链上的蝴蝶用的都是现成的, 这么多要都手工做, 手要做残的.

kittybaby mm, just wondering, if your works are gold filled?
because they are much yellower than the GF i bought, and they look like 24K
gold!
(however, the consignment place doesnt like GF at all... they just wanted
sterling silver from me)

yep, the GF i bought is quite "white" in terms of color, but the yellows of
kittybaby mm's work really stand out!
I love it.
