我的老板没钱,所以写的文章只能往JOURNAL上投。请问一下 IEEE TRANSACTION 这样的 JOURNAL PAPER 是否能与好的 CONFERENCE录取的PAPER有一拼? 我是说对找工作而言。

As long as your paper has good quality and innovations, it doesn't matter. You can see bad papers which shouldn't be admitted in both conferences and journals. In the end, it's the authors who are ultimately responsible for what they are doing, and the kind of good/bad payoff they gain from the work. If your work can be related to the kind of thing a company is researching, sure it's useful.
【在 w********g 的大作中提到】 : for faculty search, of course journal papers are more attractive : for industry, it really doesn't matter, what matters is your topic

wrong. top conf and top journal rule, together. ACM/IEEE Trans on Networking == ACM SIGCOM > IEEE INFOCOM

How many CS people read Transactions? You are right in that ToN is more respected than INFOCOM. However, a paper published in ToN only (not with a conference version) is easier to be forgotten than an INFOCOM paper.

That is because the ideas in journal papers are often too, too, out of date.
